All Of The 2020 Red Rocks Shows Announced so far with more coming soon

Fall brought with it the official end of the 2019 Red Rocks season. The final show is always bittersweet, but this year it’s a little easier to accept. Before closing, a few shows for next year were already announced at Red Rocks, and over the last month, even more, have been announced.

So, while it’s sad to leave summer nights dancing away at Red Rocks behind, there’s plenty of time to prepare for the shows you’ll be catching next year — which is fortunately right around the corner. There might even be a few you’ll want to put on your holiday gift list.

25 shows have been announced apart from the annual local set series hosted at the venue – leaving us waiting to hear when some of the big annual shows, such as Dispatch and Zedd, will be announced.

Check out the full 2020 line up below and be sure to bookmark this page – we’ll continue to update it as more shows as they get added to the calendar.

Every Artist Playing Red Rocks in 2020…So Far

In the weeks ahead, Denver will be pummeled with announcements about the 2020 Red Rocks lineup. But the next year’s calendar is filling , with a mix of electronic audio and nation.

Here is what’s happening so much at Colorado’s grandest place next year.

Galantis along with 3LAU

April 24

The cat-loving EDM manufacturers in Galantis, that played with the Westword Music Showcase at 2018, will mesmerize the crowd. On Friday, November 1, manhood Christian Karlsson injured himself on stage, and the group announced it would be canceling all displays until further notice. Since that time, however, the duo has posted to media about a string of gigs it intends to perform in 2020, such as the Red Rocks concert. Assuming that is still a go — and it appears to be — Galantis will be combined with fellow DJ Justin David Blau, that plays as 3LAU.

Brantley Gilbert

May 8 and 9

Country celebrity Brantley Gilbert boasts songs about smallish cities and automobiles, breakups and a husky voice. He’s using a huge season with his new album, Fire and Brimstone, reaching number one on Billboard’s top country albums chart (his third successive album to do so). Get ready to”Fire’t Up,” country-radio style, two nights in a row.

Die Antwoord

May 10

The South African hip-hop crew Die Antwoord postponed its 2019 Red Rocks stop in the midst of controversy over an eleven-minute video showing members yelling”faggot” because they assaulted homosexual musician Andy Butler back in 2012. The bandmates tried to describe the episode in a follow-up 2019 video, in which they accused Butler of stalking them. Shortly afterward, the collective canceled a string of U.S. shows and festival appearances. Apparently, time heals all. In May, they’re back with EDM-infused hip convinced to bring forgetful and the pliable .

Global Dub Festival

May 16

Global Dub Festival is just one of the largest parties of the year. The 2020 edition will comprise headliners Liquid Strangers and Subtronics, along with guest Herobust. Dance on, Denver.

David Gray

July 23

David Gray will mark the 25th anniversary of the album White Ladder having a summertime stand at Red Rocks. Back in 2000, this album — his project to date — attracted the British folktronic singer-songwriter lots of lovers, with a ton of ballads that assisted launch stars such as Ed Sheeren.

Could Pretty Lights Be Coming Back In 2020?

The world has been seriously missing some Pretty Lights… but is it possible we might see the producer/DJ making a comeback in 2020? Perhaps.

Since he released The Hidden Shades back in 2014, Pretty Lights has only put out two songs, “Only Yesterday” in 2016 and “Rainbows & Waterfalls” in 2017. Apart from that, there hasn’t been much from the Colorado producer to speak of, whether musically or on social media. But now, a post from frequent collaborator/stage-mate and member of duo Break Science, Borahm Lee, posing with Derek Vincent Smith, aka Pretty Lights, is giving us hope.

The post mentions “to begin again” with 2020 in emojis, with arrows which could be interpreted as “onward and upward.” It also includes the hashtag “rememberyourfuture,” which TSIS points out has never been associated with the PL project.

Of course, this is really the epitome of a wait and see scenario… while we hope that this is true, we’re not putting an undue amount on the line here. That being said, again, we really want this to happen.
