The Federal Theatre is a standing rock club on Federal Boulevard — metal, industrial, touring heavy bands. It is not the Fillmore, not HQ, not Red Rocks.

On the board: Elder (Sep 26), Combichrist (Sep 27), Hammerfall (Sep 29), Pink Fuzz. A tribute is labeled when it is one.

The room

GA, loud, a club door. Sightlines from the bar are a bar view. This is not a seated DPAC theater even though the word “theatre” is in the name.

Getting there

Federal Boulevard. Not Colfax. Rideshare. Downtown hotels are a ride east.
